Growths on the body, similar to light warts or spots on the legs, that appear out of nowhere and often disappear without any treatment, are papillomas.

The causative agent of the disease - the human papillomavirus (from English - Human Papillomavirus) - enters the body from the outside, it is unusually widespread: up to 80% of the world population is its carrier!

Such a high percentage is due to the fact that the infection occurs by tactile contact, it is almost impossible to contain the transmission of the virus.

Not all carriers attach importance to the disease and go to the doctor, so the removal of papillomas at home is always important.

The nature of the papillomavirus

The insidious virus can be located anywhere: on the neck, armpits, under the breasts, eyelids, abdomen and genitals. In most cases, it is a benign formation. If a virus invades cell chromosomes and integrates into the cell nucleus, it becomes malignant.

Before starting treatment, you should consult a doctor to find out the nature of the virus and then choose an acceptable method.

Who is at risk

The modern person is haunted by chronic stress, disease and bad habits. Under such difficult conditions, the immune system fails, the doors open for various infections, and the papilloma virus is ready to attack. The main prerequisites for increasing the activity of the virus:

  • severe stress;
  • pregnancy;
  • severe illness;
  • long-term use of drugs;
  • old age;
  • avitaminosis;
  • bad habits: smoking, alcohol;
  • high sexual activity without protection.

If at least one of the signs is present, an exacerbation of the papillomavirus and the appearance of unexpected skin growths is likely.

Routes of infection

Anyone can catch the virus. But there are factors in which infection is almost inevitable:

  • transmission of the virus from mother to newborn;
  • unprotected sexual contact with a carrier;
  • tactile contact with the patient;
  • when sharing appliances;
  • visiting the pool;
  • penetration of the virus through wounds on the skin.

The carrier of the papillomavirus can live peacefully for years and not be suspicious of its presence, enlightenment usually occurs when the immune system is weakened. Then the virus, dormant in the basal layer of the epithelium, comes out to the surface and takes the form of genital warts or flattened plaques. Living with papillomas is not comfortable and is not aesthetically pleasing.

The most effective treatment is to remove. You can not simply cut the legs of papillomas or try to cut them, you can provoke active growth and reproduction of growths, growing into a malignant form.

At the first sign of infection, see a dermatologist or try alternative treatments.

Homemade recipes

With self-removal, only the superficial part is removed, the papilloma nucleus is not affected. To completely destroy the virus, you should undergo treatment with a dermatologist. The most popular home methods of removing growths are:

  1. Celandine. The caustic sap of the plant burns warts, the same can be done with papilloma. Two methods of treatment are known: tear off a sheet of celandine, grease the papilloma with the juice that has come out and seal it with a plaster. Re-lubricate once every 2 days, after a while the papilloma will dry out and fall off. The second way: to make a "cocktail" of celandine, chaga and string. Freeze it in ice cube trays and apply it to growths three times a day for a few minutes.
  2. Kalanchoe pennata is cut lengthwise, applied to the papillomas, tied with a bandage and left overnight.
  3. "Garlic cream". Chop the garlic and mix the resulting mass with any cream in a 1: 2 ratio. Then apply to a piece of bandage and attach it to the growth, gluing it with a plaster. Leave on for 3 hours, then wash with soap and water.
  4. Healing baths. Pour boiling water over half a bucket of green chestnut leaves, then bring to a boil. Insist 12 hours. Prepare a bath from the resulting broth by adding water at a comfortable temperature. The treatment will take 2 weeks at the rate of 7 procedures every other day.
  5. Onion peel. Mix the dried peels in a jar with the vinegar. Tie the jar with parchment or thick cloth, keep in the dark for 2 weeks. Remove the peel and dry it, tie it to the papillomas overnight. Remove the bandage in the morning and soften the skin with a greasy cream.
  6. Floral Collection: 1 part tricolor viola, 1 part wormwood herb, 3 parts plantain, 2 parts clover flower, St. John's wort, calamus root and dill seeds. Pour boiling water over the collection to get 1 part of the collection 7 parts boiling water. Insist day, strain, take 1 tbsp. spoon three times a day.
  7. Colony of dandelion flowers. Hermetically fill a glass bottle with dandelion heads. Pour the triple cologne and let it ferment in the dark for 2 weeks. Transfer to a dark glass bottle, store in a cool, dark place. Lubricate the papillomas with infusion 4-5 times a day until they disappear.

Lubricate the papillomas with the egg white left on the shell walls after pouring the egg. Collect it with a piece of bandage and apply it to the papilloma.

Superstitions to help

The ancient semi-mystical methods of removing papillomas have survived to this day. The most curious of them:

  1. Knot the growths with a silk thread, thread the thread with knots into a cut potato and hide it where no one will find it. After a while, the potato will rot and the papillomas will disappear!
  2. Rub the growths with the potato cut in half: first with one half, then with the other. Put the halves together, put them in a dark place and try to forget. The skin will peel off after the potato decomposes.
  3. The most romantic way is in the moonlight. In the light of the waning moon in the late evening, rub the papilloma on the surface illuminated by the moonlight and the growth will disappear.

Such, at first glance, unusual methods of treatment were practiced by healers in the old days and gave a positive effect, they were fixed by repeated repetitions.

Today, carriers of the papillomavirus have access to a variety of medical methods of treatment with the help of tinctures, decoctions and juices of medicinal herbs. When choosing any method, it is recommended to consult a doctor.
